Ingredients:
- 800 grams Chicken ( cut into 1 inch pieces on the bone )
- 1 Raw mango ( peeled and grated )
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 2 Green chillies ( broken )
- 2-3 tablespoons oil
- 2 medium Onions ( sliced )
- 2 tablespoons fresh Coriander leaves ( chopped )
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- Fresh Coriander leaves ( for garnishing )
- 1 Green chili ( for garnishing )
Method:
- Mix together chicken, ginger-garlic paste and salt in a bowl
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, green chillies, raw mango and yogurt and mix well
- Keep aside to marinate for an hour
- Heat oil in a non stick pan, add onions and saute for 2-3 minutes
- When onion turns light brown in color add the marinated chicken and saute for 4-5 minutes
- Cover the pan with a lid for 12-15 minutes until the chicken cooked, stiring in between
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and green chili and serve hot
