POMOJITO (health drink)




In Summer when the temperature are high and you need something yummy,cool and light to beat the heat,the best thing to have is a healthy drink.Water is the better beverage choice for staying hydrated,but sometimes plain water can get boring.Try this fun and cold healthy drink- POMOJITO which is also easy to make




Preparation Time: 20 minutes                                  Serving: 2

Ingredients:
  •  1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  •  1/2 chopped lemon as required
  •  5 - 6 mint leaves  
  •  1 cup chilled sugar syrup
  •  1 tbsp chat masala
  •  1 tbsp black salt
  •  Lemon juice as required
  •  1 cup soda 
  •  crushed ice
  •  Pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
  •  2 Lemon slice (for garnish)
       

 Method:
  •  In a muslin cloth keep half of pomegranate and squeeze out the juice in a mocktail shaker
  • Add chopped lemon, mint leaves and sugar syrup to this
  • Crush this with the help of a meddler
  • To decorate the glass rim on a plate mix chat masala and black salt
  • Now on the glass rim apply lemon juice and rim the glass with the prepared mixture on a plate
  • In the pomegranate mixture add soda and shake it
  • Now add crushed ice and the prepared pomojito to the glass
  • Add soda and garnish with lemon slice 
  • Add some pomegranate seeds and serve the pomojito
